Remote Access to ACS Publications
In response to campus and workplace closures worldwide, ACS Publications is expanding its remote access capabilities to ensure you can effectively access ACS Publications research remotely. These channels are in addition to —and separate from— the VPN and proxy server options that many institutions already have in place. In this uncertain time, it is more important than ever that you have options to easily access ACS Publications journals, books and various products and services from the safety of your home.
You can use any of the following options to gain access to ACS Publications content from any location. If you need any help or guidance, email us at [email protected].
Federated access using your campus/institution credentials
Federated authentication delivers content directly from ACS Publications to you via your university or institutional login. Our recent partnership with SeamlessAccess.org makes this option even easier to use. We have significantly expanded the number of supported institutions and are adding more every day.
Click here to check your institution
Search for your institution’s name to be directed to your login page. A link to your login page will be stored in your browser for future use, as shown here.
Google CASA (Campus Activated Subscriber Access)
When searching in Google Scholar, you will see links to "acs.org" that will take you directly to full text regardless of your location. These links will appear if you have used your Google account while on a recognized campus/corporate network in the last 90 days.
